Empowering Family 6-Week Program
Dates: January 14 - February 18, 2025
Join us for our transformative "Empowering Family" program, designed to support families of individuals with diverse abilities. Over six weeks, participants will engage in workshops that focus on advocacy, effective communication, and resources for navigating challenges. This program aims to strengthen family bonds and equip caregivers with the tools they need to advocate effectively for their loved ones.

Life Skills Classes
July 2025
Our "Life Skills Classes" will empower individuals with essential skills for everyday living. These classes will cover topics such as personal finance, cooking, job readiness, and more, ensuring participants gain confidence and independence. Through hands-on learning experiences, we aim to prepare individuals for success in various aspects of their lives.
College Tour
August 5, 2025
Get ready for our "World Explorers" program, where we will take individuals on exciting journeys to explore college campuses and participate in fun activities that promote social interaction and independence. This project aims to inspire participants by providing them with firsthand exposure to college life and the possibilities that await them.
6th Annual School Supply Drive: 2 events

Our annual School Supply Drive is dedicated to providing essential school supplies to children with Down syndrome and other abilities. Celebrate the beauty of diversity with us on our Official Wonderfully Made Day in Illinois! This special event honors individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other abilities, celebrating their unique gifts and contributions to our community. Also, this special event honors the memory of our co-founder, Tinesha Williams, and marks the 6th anniversary of Empower Society and Empower Society 21, Inc.
