Empower Society 21 is excited to invite you and your family on a powerful journey of hope, opportunity, and transformation! Our “All Things Are Possible” College Preview Day will be at Judson University in Elgin, IL. We will be exploring their RISE Road to Independent Living, Spiritual Formation, and Employment Program for individuals with Down syndrome and other abilities, the college experience in a Christian community and “build upon strengths for independent living and customized employment.”—where possibilities come to life for individuals of all abilities.
What to Expect:
Guided campus tour of an inclusive college
Exposure to career pathways & employment opportunities
Empowering conversations with professionals & advocates
Connection, resources & FUN for the entire family!
This is more than a tour—it’s a life-changing experience that helps families envision a future beyond high school for their loved ones with disabilities.
Parents are encouraged to go for support so that they can be involved in the experience.
Transportation option is provided at a cost of $25. You can opt to drive and meet us there. We will have lunch off campus, we ask that you bring additional money for lunch.
