Empowered Pathways Academy™ is a structured, 6-week life skills program designed to support participants ages 12 and up as they build essential skills for independence, confidence, and long-term success.

Taking place from June 2 – July 7, this academy provides a supportive, inclusive environment where participants are encouraged to grow, learn, and prepare for real-world experiences.

This program goes beyond traditional learning by focusing on practical life skills, social development, and future readiness—serving as a strong foundation for continued growth and expanded opportunities within the Empowered Pathways™ and World Explorers Experience journey.

This academy offers structured learning, encouragement, and real-world preparation in a supportive and inclusive environment.

What Participants Will Learn

Participants will build skills in:

• Communication & social interaction

• Self-advocacy and confidence building

• Independence and daily living readiness, including money management

• Understanding expectations in school, work, and community environments

• Preparing for future college, career, and travel experiences

Who the Academy Is For

Designed for participants ages 12 and up:

• Teens through Adults with Down syndrome, autism, and other abilities

• Transition-age participants

• Families preparing for post-secondary life and independence

Included with the All Things Are Possible Experience

Participants who are registered for the All Things Are Possible Experience (Full Experience) receive access to the Empowered Pathways Academy™ as part of their overall experience.

For participants who are not enrolled in the full experience, the Empowered Pathways Academy™ is available as a standalone program.

Weekly Option

$25 per session

Participation in the Academy is open to all eligible individuals.

However, those enrolled in the full All Things Are Possible Experience receive the Academy as a foundational component of their journey.

The Academy is where preparation begins.

The Experience is where those skills come to life.
