About the event
Join Empower Society 21, Inc. for our signature Wonderfully Made Sneaker Ball—a powerful daytime experience designed for families, individuals of all ages, and community champions to gather, celebrate, and move inclusion forward.
Hosted during World Down Syndrome Month and leading into Autism Awareness Month, this celebration honors individuality, builds community, and creates real impact for families.

The Wonderfully Made Sneaker Ball exists to:
Celebrate individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other abilities
Create a space where families feel seen, welcomed, and empowered
Honor the legacy of our beloved co-founder, Tinesha, whose life embodied joy, love, and inclusion
Fund life-changing programs including life skills training, family empowerment, and college & career exposure experiences

This event is part of Our Officially Wonderfully Made Day in Illinois, which recognizes and celebrates these individuals and their accomplishments!
